Enrolment options

This course is designed to enhance the students’ capability to critically review literatures or current research in ELT, and to write a good research report/article by conducting a systematic literature review (SLR: identification, evaluation, and interpretation on related studies) in the area of ELT. This course is arranged into two parts. In the first half semester, it focuses on understanding the theoretical concepts on the academic writing (summarizing, quoting, paraphrasing, synthesizing, and referencing). In the second half semester, the students are assigned to apply the theory and to write a systematic literature review in the form of research report/article based on their topic interest under the guidance of the lecturers.
