This the subject aims to develop students’ academic writing theoretically and practically. It supplies the students with theoretical skill of good conceptual scientific writing in the area of ELT and invites the students to develop some practical skills of writing good scientific papers including paraphrasing, quoting, referencing, reviewing, and synthesizing to avoid plagiarism. It also provides students with the ability to do self-assessment checking and peer assessment towards the students’ scientific writing.
